The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) has confirmed in an official statement that ‘a building’ collapsed yesterday, stating that a rescue operation is currently taking place.The SCOAN denied however that it was the church auditorium that collapsed, as some sections of the media had reported.“A building, not the church auditorium as was reported,” the statement, posted on Pastor T.B. Joshua’s official Facebook Page, read. “The few people that were there are being rescued.”
The brief statement ended with a call for prayer, noting, “Nothing makes us love a person as much as praying for him. The more I love you, the more I will pray for you.”

According to The Nation over 15 bodies have been recovered…“Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Friday Adeboayo confirmed the recovery of the dead bodies adding that rescue operations are on to evacuate injured persons.”
