ABACHA LOOTED CASH ($227M)TO BE RECOVERED

Liechtenstein finally agreed to return 167 million euros ($227 million) to Nigeria, ending a drawn battle by the Federal Government to recover cash looted by former military dictator: late General Sanni Abacha.
Abacha who died in 1998 is suspected to having looted the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to the tune of about $2.2 billion when he ruled from November 1993 to June 1988.
